Georgia has bolstered its roster with three key transfers. Army linebacker Elo Modozie, ranked No. 8 in ESPN’s spring transfer rankings, joins the Bulldogs after a standout season with the Black Knights. In 2024, Modozie led his team with 6.5 sacks and earned third-team All-AAC honors during Army’s 12-win campaign. Illinois running back Josh McCray, who rushed for 609 yards at an average of 5.2 yards per carry and scored 11 total touchdowns last season, will complement Georgia’s rising sophomore Nate Frazier. Additionally, Miami defensive lineman Josh Horton, standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 295 pounds, adds depth to the Bulldogs’ defensive front after playing 58 snaps over eight games in his two seasons with the Hurricanes. These transfers come as Georgia aims to strengthen its squad following a first-round exit in the previous College Football Playoff.
