Georgia QB Carson Beck: 28 TDs, 3,485 Yards, and a Draft Decision

Georgia quarterback Carson Beck has declared for the 2025 NFL draft, opting out of his final year of college eligibility. Beck, rated as the No. 4 quarterback prospect by ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr., led the SEC with 28 touchdown passes this season. He accumulated 3,485 passing yards, ranking third in the conference, but also threw 12 interceptions over 13 games. His record as a starter for Georgia stands at 24-3. Beck recently underwent surgery on his right elbow to repair his ulnar collateral ligament (UCL), performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles. He will miss the College Football Playoff but is expected to make a full recovery and resume throwing in the spring. The injury occurred during Georgia’s SEC championship game win against Texas on December 7.
