Colorado has secured what is believed to be the largest insurance coverage in college football history for quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter. The exact amount of coverage remains undisclosed due to privacy laws. Coach Deion Sanders and athletic director Rick George confirmed the unprecedented coverage, noting that both players are projected to be among the top 10 picks in the upcoming NFL draft. Shedeur Sanders threw for 3,926 yards and 35 touchdowns this season, while Hunter, a two-way standout, recorded 92 receptions for 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns on offense, and defensively, he had four interceptions and 11 pass breakups. The Buffaloes, ranked No. 23 in the CFP, will face No. 17 BYU in the Alamo Bowl, with no players opting out, showcasing the team’s commitment to the game.
