22 mph Speedster: Texas WR Isaiah Bond Declares for 2025 NFL Draft

Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond, known for his explosive speed, has declared for the 2025 NFL draft. Bond, who transferred from Alabama to Texas in 2024, showcased his speed by reaching over 22 mph during a game against UTSA. Over his three-year college career, he caught 99 passes for 1,428 yards and 10 touchdowns. In his single season at Texas, he recorded 34 receptions for 540 yards and five touchdowns, plus 98 rushing yards and a touchdown. Bond ranks as the No. 6 wide receiver in ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr.’s NFL draft rankings. He aims to prove he’s the most explosive wide receiver in the draft, training with speed coach Mo Wells and wide receiver trainer David Robinson at Sports Academy in Frisco, Texas. Bond, who only started playing wide receiver in his junior year of high school, feels he’s just beginning to tap into his potential.
