40% Increase in League Standing: Wrexham’s Remarkable Rise!

Wrexham AFC, the 3rd oldest professional football club, has seen a significant rise in its league standing. The club, purchased by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds in 2020, achieved back-to-back promotions. This success has elevated Wrexham from the 5th tier to League One, marking their first appearance in this league in 20 years. The team’s journey is documented in the docuseries “Welcome To Wrexham,” which premieres its 4th season on May 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FX. The season will feature 10 episodes, with the first two episodes available on Hulu the following day. Alongside the men’s team, Wrexham AFC’s Women’s Team competes in the Welsh Adran Premier League, striving to excel among top teams. Meanwhile, Executive Director Humphrey Ker is training for a marathon across Wales, England, and California, aiming to raise funds for charity.
