Team Heretics and CGN Esports have formed a strategic partnership focused on VALORANT. This collaboration will see both teams training together for significant events like Team Heretics’ VCT EMEA season and CGN’s journey to qualify for EMEA Ascension 2025. The partnership opens doors for Team Heretics in the DACH region, where CGN is based, and allows CGN to leverage Team Heretics’ popularity in Spain. They plan to launch joint activities including watch parties, community tournaments, and co-branded merchandise. Offline events in Spain and Germany are slated for 2025. CGN Esports, established in 2020, competes in the VALORANT Challengers DACH league and finished third in VCT Ascension EMEA 2024. This partnership is part of Riot Games’ Affiliate Partnerships programme, which has seen 50% of VCT EMEA teams securing similar partnerships.
