Amazon Ads Reaches Over 275 Million Monthly Users in the U.S.

Amazon has scheduled its return to the main week of upfront presentations to advertisers in New York on May 12 at the Beacon Theatre. The event will start at 6:30 p.m., a change from last year’s morning slot. Despite previous logistical issues, Amazon’s debut upfront event last year exceeded expectations, securing over $1.8 billion in ad revenue. Amazon Ads now reaches a monthly ad-supported audience of more than 275 million in the U.S. across its properties and third-party publishers. Prime Video, which began running ads in January 2024, will expand its advertising to Brazil, India, Japan, the Netherlands, and New Zealand this year. Prime customers can opt for an ad-free experience for an additional fee. The company also plans to add NBA and WNBA broadcasts to its lineup. The upcoming upfront presentation will feature developments from Amazon Ads, a star-studded lineup, and news from Amazon’s entertainment universe, with virtual access for those unable to attend in person.
