This season, Murphy was excelling, averaging 21.2 points per game, a significant increase from last season’s 14.8 points. He also set new personal bests with 5.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. Additionally, Murphy achieved his third season with over 150 three-pointers made. The Pelicans, struggling with a 18-51 record, have been plagued by injuries and are out of playoff contention.
