Dozee, an Indian medical device company, raised $8.3 million to expand internationally. The funds will help broaden their AI-powered contactless vital signs monitoring system across various care settings. Previously, Dozee secured $6 million in a 2023 Series A round. South Korean company JLK received its fourth approval from Japan’s PMDA for its MRI FLAIR-based stroke AI software. This software aids in evaluating treatment options for acute ischemic stroke and predicting cognitive decline. JLK’s last PMDA approval was for non-contrast CT stroke AI software in February. Coreline Soft, another South Korean firm, obtained its 11th US FDA 510(k) certification for its upgraded AVIEW 2.0 medical image analysis software. They also received Class 3 approval from South Korea’s MFDS for AVIEW LCS, which predicts the malignancy of pulmonary nodules. Singapore’s FlocCare raised $500,000 to develop large language models for personalized medical information. Their models are 50 times faster, fact-checked, scalable, and regulatory-compliant. FlocCare plans to expand into new disease categories and introduce their AI models in the UAE.
