Nanowear, a cardiometabolic digital diagnostics company, has partnered with Dexcom, a glucose monitoring specialist. This collaboration integrates glucose data from Dexcom’s G7 into Nanowear’s SimpleSense wearable. The SimpleSense device, cleared by the FDA, captures over 120 million data points daily using cloth-based nanosensor technology. It monitors vital signs such as respiration rate, heart rate, blood pressure, physical activity, and lung volume. The platform employs AI to analyze this data and generate reports for physicians. Dexcom’s G7, also FDA-cleared, is a continuous glucose monitoring system used by individuals aged 2 and older with diabetes. It measures blood sugar levels every five minutes and transmits the data to a smartphone or app. Through this partnership, Nanowear will combine Dexcom’s glucose data with its cardiovascular biomarkers, enhancing real-world and real-time cardiometabolic diagnostic assessments. In December 2023, Nanowear received FDA clearance for its AI-enabled SimpleSense-BP and SimpleSense-BP Software Application.
