$18M Investment Fuels Brainomix’s AI-Driven Stroke and Lung Fibrosis Innovations

Brainomix, a leader in AI-powered imaging for stroke and lung fibrosis, has successfully raised $18 million in a Series C funding round. The round was co-led by Parkwalk Advisors and the Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund, with new investments from Hostplus and LifeSci Capital. The company’s Brainomix 360 e-Lung technology predicts the progression of both stroke and lung fibrosis, while Brainomix 360 Stroke automates imaging biomarkers to improve diagnosis and treatment. The funds will support Brainomix’s expansion into the U.S., where it has already secured 10 FDA clearances. Additionally, the investment will help advance the company’s AI technology into new areas. Brainomix collaborates with Boehringer Ingelheim to enhance treatment access for lung fibrosis patients. In February, a partnership with Medtronic Neurovascular aimed to improve stroke care in Western Europe. In 2023, Brainomix and Nanoflex Robotics received 400,000 euros ($420,418) and CHF 400,000 ($443,700) respectively to develop an AI-assisted magnetic navigation system for stroke-related robotic surgery. In 2021, Brainomix raised approximately $20.7 million in a Series B round led by Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund and Oxford University Innovation Fund, with Tencent Holdings also participating.
