21-Year-Old NFL Prospect’s Stats: 34 Catches, 540 Yards, and a Legal Challenge

Former Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond, a 21-year-old NFL draft prospect, turned himself in on a sexual assault warrant. He was released after posting $25,000 bail. Bond denied the allegations, calling them “patently false” and expressed his willingness to cooperate with the authorities. In his only season at Texas in 2024, Bond recorded 34 receptions for 540 yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown. Before transferring to Texas, Bond played two seasons at Alabama, where he caught 65 passes for 888 yards and five touchdowns. His speed was notable, reaching 22 mph in a game and running a 4.39-second 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine. Bond was projected as the No. 57 overall pick in the second round by the Carolina Panthers in a recent mock draft.
