The Baltimore Ravens are now one win away from repeating as AFC North champions after a dominant 31-2 victory over the Houston Texans on Christmas Day. The Ravens showcased an unrelenting rushing attack, amassing 251 yards on the ground. Derrick Henry led the charge with 147 rushing yards and a touchdown, while quarterback Lamar Jackson added 87 yards and surpassed Michael Vick to become the NFL’s all-time leading rushing quarterback. The Ravens’ defense was equally impressive, sacking Texans QB C.J. Stroud five times and intercepting him once. Baltimore’s defense would have secured a shutout if not for a safety by Henry. The Ravens scored on their opening drive for the first time in 12 weeks, with Henry setting a team record with his 16th touchdown of the season. A pivotal moment came when the Ravens stopped Texans RB Joe Mixon on fourth down, leading to a 99-yard drive capped by Jackson’s 9-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Likely. Jackson also reached a career-high speed of 21.25 mph on a 48-yard touchdown run. The Texans, on the other hand, struggled offensively, with Stroud throwing for 185 yards and an interception, marking his first game without a scoring drive.
