San Antonio Spurs forward Sandro Mamukelashvili scored a career-high 34 points in just 19 minutes against the New York Knicks. This performance set a new NBA record for the most points scored in under 20 minutes since the 1951-52 season. Mamukelashvili shot an impressive 13-of-14 from the field, 7-of-7 from three-point range, and was perfect from the free-throw line. He became only the fourth player in NBA history to achieve a 90% field goal percentage, 100% on three-pointers, and 100% on free throws in a single game. Additionally, he joined an elite group of Spurs players, becoming the third to shoot 7-of-7 or better from beyond the arc. Mamukelashvili’s remarkable game occurred in front of 18,521 fans at Frost Bank Center, where he was cheered on by his family and friend, rapper Flavor Flav.
