The incident occurred when Embiid plowed into Victor Wembanyama, knocking him down, and was called for a charging foul. Embiid’s ejection was his second in his career.Andre Drummond was also initially ejected but the call was rescinded after review. Wembanyama finished with 26 points, nine rebounds, and eight blocks. Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers with 32 points, making crucial plays in the final minute to secure the comeback victory. Embiid did not speak to reporters after the game.
