76ers Surge: 8 Wins in 11 Games After 3-14 Start

The Philadelphia 76ers have turned their season around, winning eight of their last 11 games after a dismal 3-14 start. This resurgence has moved them out of the Eastern Conference basement and within striking distance of the playoffs. Joel Embiid, despite an ankle injury, led the team with 27 points and 9 rebounds in a 118-114 victory over the Boston Celtics on Christmas Day. The Sixers have now played 102 minutes together with their key players, Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey, who contributed 33 points and 12 assists in the win. Since Thanksgiving, Philadelphia has the fourth-best record in the NBA, trailing only the Thunder, Knicks, and Cavaliers. They are now just one game from a play-in spot and 3.5 games behind the Miami Heat for the sixth seed. The team’s improved performance includes better ball handling, perfect free-throw shooting, and significant contributions from players like Caleb Martin, who scored 23 points.
