Top QB Prospect Shedeur Sanders Skips Combine, Boasts Impressive Stats

University of Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, a top prospect for the upcoming NFL draft, will not participate in the on-field workouts at the NFL scouting combine. Instead, Sanders will meet with teams in Indianapolis. He led the nation with a 74% completion rate in 2024, amassing 4,134 passing yards, 37 touchdowns, and leading the Big 12 in several key categories. His 71.8% completion rate over two seasons at Colorado is an FBS record. Sanders, who has trained with other top prospects, is ranked as the No. 4 overall prospect and the No. 1 quarterback by ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. He will throw at Colorado’s pro day next month. Historically, top prospects like Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye also opted out of combine workouts.
