12,279 Rushing Yards: NFL Legend Joins Colorado Buffaloes Coaching Staff

The Colorado Buffaloes have added NFL Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk to their coaching staff. Faulk, who turns 52 this month, will serve as the running backs coach. His NFL career spanned 12 seasons, where he amassed 12,279 rushing yards, ranking him 12th all-time. He won one MVP award in 2000, made six All-Pro teams, and was selected for seven Pro Bowls. Faulk played for the Indianapolis Colts for five seasons and then for the Rams for seven, retiring in 2005. This marks his first coaching job. He joins fellow Hall of Famers Deion Sanders and Warren Sapp on the Buffs staff. Faulk replaces Gary Harrell, who coached the running backs for two seasons.
