This poll was conducted by a Ukrainian company in partnership with a state university, raising concerns about potential bias. Despite other independent polls showing similar results, Musk criticized the Community Notes for allegedly being manipulated by external forces. He stated on X that the system is being “gamed by governments & legacy media.” This marks a significant shift from Musk’s previous stance, where he defended the integrity of Community Notes against accusations of manipulation, even claiming that any attempt to game the system would be obvious. The European Union continues to investigate X’s effectiveness in combating misinformation.
