Meta is set to experiment with X’s Community Notes algorithm. The testing will start on March 18 in the US. Already, 200,000 potential contributors have signed up for this initiative. The test aims to crowdsource fact-checks that will appear on Facebook, Instagram, and Threads. Anyone over 18 with a Meta account older than six months can join a waitlist. These users will be gradually and randomly admitted to participate in the initial beta testing, where they can write and rate notes across platforms. Meta believes this approach will lead to less biased fact-checking compared to relying solely on experts. However, the company will delay posting any notes publicly until they are confident in the system’s effectiveness. Notes could help flag misleading content that previous fact-checking efforts missed. Yet, users will not be able to add notes to misleading advertisements, meaning this feature won’t address the scam ads reported to be spreading on Facebook.

Creative testing is still the king on Meta ads.
But you still need to find ways to bring the cost down.
I tested this tool last month and it lowered the cost by 21%.
Here’s how they’re finding better audience on Meta:
