Caris specializes in pathology and molecular profiling for cancer diagnosis and treatment, utilizing AI and machine learning to guide physicians. The funds will be used to expand their precision medicine platform. In 2023, Caris expanded its partnership with ConcertAI, creating a database to advance precision medicine, clinical trials, and therapeutic development. Other companies like ImpriMed and Pfizer are also advancing precision medicine in oncology, with ImpriMed focusing on blood cancers and Pfizer collaborating with Tempus on AI-driven drug discovery.
