74,000 TikTok Creators and Counting: QVC’s Bold Move into Social Shopping

QVC Group is launching the first-ever 24/7 live shopping streams on TikTok in the U.S., starting Wednesday. This initiative aims to expand QVC’s audience and revitalize its business. Since August, over 74,000 TikTok creators have featured QVC products on their shoppable videos and livestreams. QVC’s main channels have seen a significant decline in viewership, reaching 44% and 47% fewer homes in 2024 compared to 2018. The company plans to intensify its efforts in social media and streaming, targeting $1.5 billion in run-rate revenue from these platforms within the next three years. Despite uncertainties about TikTok’s future in the U.S., QVC sees this partnership as a strategic move to adapt to changing consumer behaviors.
