70% Drop in Ether Prices Shows Signs of Recovery: Is a Bullish Breakout Imminent?

Ether (ETH) has shown signs of downtrend exhaustion after a significant decline. The cryptocurrency fell to a 16-month low of $1,755 on March 11 but failed to drop further last week. Since then, ETH prices have rebounded to $1,880, hinting at a potential double bottom formation. A breakout above the neckline resistance at $2,104 could confirm a bullish trend, potentially pushing prices to $2,400. Despite revisiting the March 11 low, the histogram measuring the spread between the price and its 50-day simple moving average (SMA) formed a higher low, indicating weakening downward momentum. Additionally, the three-line break chart has flipped bullish, marking a shift in market sentiment. However, looming tariffs announced by President Trump could impact these bullish signals and lead to further losses in ether.
