Eagles’ Kellen Moore: 8th in NFL Offense, Eyes on Super Bowl, Not Saints

Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, currently preparing for the Super Bowl, has emerged as a top candidate for the New Orleans Saints’ head coach position. Despite the interest from the Saints, Moore’s focus remains on the upcoming game against the Kansas City Chiefs. This season, under Moore’s guidance, the Eagles ranked eighth in the NFL offensively, averaging 367.2 yards per game. Their strategy leaned heavily on rushing, placing them second in the league with 179.3 yards per game, while they ranked 29th in passing at 187.9 yards per game. Moore, who once played behind Dak Prescott, has a history of adapting his coaching style to his players’ strengths. If hired by the Saints, he could work with dynamic running back Alvin Kamara and possibly quarterback Derek Carr, against whom he played in college. Moore’s potential move to New Orleans would not deter him from continuing as the primary playcaller, a role he deeply enjoys.
