80% of Critical Health Data Restored by Midnight Deadline

A federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to restore critical health information by midnight tonight. This follows the abrupt removal of public documents and datasets from the CDC and FDA websites, which was in response to an executive order on gender ideology. The removed content included vital guidance on youth health risks, school health policies, HIV prevention, and more. The nonprofit Doctors for America, backed by Public Citizen, filed a lawsuit claiming these removals violated federal laws. Judge John D. Bates issued a temporary restraining order, mandating the restoration of the specified webpages to their January 30 versions. The agencies must also collaborate with doctors to identify and restore additional resources by February 14. This information will remain accessible online as the lawsuit continues.
