GE HealthCare’s Genesis brand introduces a cloud-first and cloud-hybrid approach to healthcare technology. This innovation allows customers to adopt new technologies 50% faster and at a lower cost. Genesis combines the benefits of on-premises and cloud systems, enabling healthcare providers to maintain their existing infrastructure while leveraging cloud advantages. For enterprise archive customers, Genesis offers three storage options: augmenting on-prem storage with the cloud, replacing on-prem storage while keeping control on-site, or adding cloud copies. Genesis VNA further enhances this by moving archiving functionality to the cloud as a software-as-a-service. Additionally, Genesis includes an edge server with six months of data for business continuity during cloud connection losses. This edge server is monitored with over 150 infrastructure and 170 software data points to ensure reliability. Later this year, GE HealthCare will launch a new cloud-based diagnostic viewer as part of the Genesis Solution Suite.
