Despite a decline towards the end of the season, a surge is expected with the upcoming Season 2. Stream Charts data reveals that the number of viewers matches the number of players, placing Marvel Rivals in the top ten most popular topics. The game has accumulated nearly 8.5 million hours of watch time and an average peak of 11,000 streaming channels. On Twitch, it outperforms titles like League of Legends, Overwatch 2, and Call of Duty: Warzone. There are currently 312 registered esports players, with over 100 from North America. Out of 12 events this year, the largest, the Marvels Rivals segment of Twitch Rivals, drew nearly 180,000 peak viewers and offered a $200,000 prize pool. The Creator Cup, hosted by Disguised Toast, recently peaked at over 85,000 viewers with a $60,000 prize pool. In comparison, League of Legends reached a peak viewership of nearly 2 million in 2025, with a top prize of $1 million at the First Stand event.
