Sacramento Kings’ star center Domantas Sabonis has been sidelined with a grade 1 left hamstring strain. The injury occurred just a minute into Saturday’s game against the Houston Rockets, forcing him to leave and not return. Sabonis, who was averaging 19.9 points, 14.4 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game, will be out indefinitely. The team plans to provide an update on his condition in one week. In response, the Kings have signed Skal Labissiere from their G League affiliate to a 10-day contract. Labissiere, previously drafted by Sacramento in 2016, has been averaging 15.8 points and 7.5 rebounds in the G League. The Kings are currently half a game behind the LA Clippers for the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference.
