LeBron James Breaks Michael Jordan’s 30-Point Record in 1,523 Games

LeBron James surpassed Michael Jordan’s record for the most 30-point games in NBA history during the Los Angeles Lakers’ 119-102 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. James reached this milestone with a turnaround, fadeaway jumper, a move reminiscent of Jordan’s signature shot. This was his 563rd game with at least 30 points, breaking Jordan’s record set in 2003 over 1,072 games. James, who has played 1,523 games over 22 seasons, also passed Dirk Nowitzki for the fourth-most NBA games played in the regular season. In the game, James scored 30 points, while teammate Anthony Davis contributed 18 points, 19 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. James, who turned 40 last week, continues to perform at a high level, having scored 38 points against the Portland Trail Blazers the previous night, tying Jordan’s mark for points scored by a player over 40. He holds several longevity records, including scoring at least 10 points in 1,253 consecutive games.
