Paige Bueckers scored 31 points, dished out 6 assists, and nabbed 4 steals, leading the UConn Huskies to a 78-64 win over USC. This victory secured UConn’s 24th Final Four appearance. Bueckers has now led the Huskies to the Final Four in every season she’s been healthy. She is the only player in NCAA tournament history with four 25-point games in the Elite Eight. In her last three games, Bueckers scored 105 points, the highest by any UConn player in a three-game span. She shot 9 for 11 and 4 for 8 from three-point range, becoming the first player since 2001 to score 30 points while shooting 50% in three consecutive NCAA tournament games.
