90% Market Share: SpaceX’s Dominance Challenged by Rising Rivals

SpaceX has achieved a near-monopoly in the US rocket launch market, edging out competitors like Boeing, Lockheed, and Northrop Grumman. Over the past two decades, SpaceX has conducted numerous satellite launches and five private crewed spaceflights. However, other space companies are now making significant strides in catching up to SpaceX’s lead, despite the challenges of developing reliable rockets which require substantial time and investment.
