knownwell, a hybrid weight-inclusive primary and metabolic care provider, has joined Eli Lilly’s digital healthcare platform, LillyDirect. This partnership allows knownwell to offer virtual metabolic healthcare services across all 50 states. LillyDirect, launched in January of last year, connects patients with various health issues, including diabetes and obesity, to healthcare providers and provides educational resources and a digital pharmacy. knownwell’s expansion into LillyDirect enhances its reach, offering comprehensive care plans that may include dietitian counseling, health coaching, and anti-obesity medications. Earlier this year, knownwell expanded to six new clinics in the Chicago area, adding 23 regional employees and key leadership positions. In 2023, knownwell acquired Alfie Health, integrating its AI-enabled platform, ObesityRx, into its care model to improve metabolic health management. knownwell launched with $4.5 million in seed funding and later secured $20 million in Series A funding led by Andreessen Horowitz Bio + Health.
