The VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) has seen a remarkable 250% increase in total winnings since its inception in 2020, with the prize pool growing from $2,691,955 to nearly $9,500,000 by 2023. In 2025 alone, the tour has already amassed nearly $1,000,000 in prize money, including a $500,000 pot at the VALORANT Masters Bangkok and $120,000 at the APAC Predator League. The VCT, operated by Riot Games, features 42 teams across three leagues, each with 14 teams, spanning four regions: Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China. The tour has attracted nearly 5,000 players, showcasing the growing interest in VALORANT Esports. Viewership has also surged, with an average of over one million viewers per event in 2025, peaking at 1,319,067 viewers, more than doubling the 692,277 peak viewers in 2020. The financial success of the VCT is further supported by sponsorships, with Razer sponsoring 18 teams, Red Bull eight, and Oakley three. Top-tier VALORANT pro players earn between $30,000 to $50,000 per month, while entry-level pros make $5,000 to $10,000. The VCT’s structure includes three tiers: Challengers, Masters, and Champions, with the latter offering a multi-million dollar prize pool.
