50% of Domestic Violence Incidents Involve Alcohol: Shocking Stats Revealed

In a recent incident, former Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy was arrested on domestic violence charges. His then-girlfriend, Ally Lewber, ended their relationship following the arrest. According to a police report, James, who was drunk, lifted Ally and threw her to the ground. Despite no physical injuries, Ally decided to leave James. Statistics show that alcohol is involved in about 50% of domestic violence cases. After the incident, Lisa Vanderpump, a producer on the show, called Ally and urged her to reconcile with James. Lisa suggested that both were drinking during the incident, though Ally has no history of violence or alcoholism. Lisa also tried to convince Ally to join James on his DJ gigs, which were canceled post-arrest. Months later, Lisa admitted her mistake in encouraging the reconciliation, acknowledging the challenges of addiction but stressing the need to stop supporting repeated harmful behaviors.
