The New York Giants have signed quarterback Russell Wilson to a one-year contract worth up to $21 million. This deal includes $10.5 million guaranteed. Wilson, a 10-time Pro Bowl selection, previously won Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium with the Seattle Seahawks. Now, at 36 years old, he returns to the same stadium as the Giants’ projected starting quarterback. The Giants’ quarterback room now includes Wilson, Jameis Winston, and Tommy DeVito. Winston signed a two-year, $8 million contract, while DeVito played in 12 games over the past two seasons. Despite these signings, the Giants, holding the No. 3 pick in the upcoming NFL draft, may still select a quarterback. Wilson’s career stats include 46,135 passing yards, a 64.7% completion rate, 350 touchdown passes, and 111 interceptions over 13 years.
