Christian Pulisic, a 26-year-old USMNT star, is negotiating a new contract with AC Milan. Since joining the club on a four-year deal in July 2023, Pulisic has scored 15 goals in each of his first two seasons. This achievement marks him as the first Milan player to reach this milestone since Zlatan Ibrahimovic in 2010-11 and 2011-12. Pulisic equaled his career-best goal tally with his 15th goal in Milan’s recent 2-1 victory over Como. Despite his strong performance, AC Milan currently ranks eighth in Serie A, trailing Inter Milan by 14 points. The team has seen multiple coaching changes, with Stefano Pioli, Paulo Fonseca, and Sergio Conceição taking the helm at different times. In the January transfer window, Milan added Chelsea loanee João Félix and Feyenoord’s Santiago Giménez to their forward line.
