He has criticized the WHO for its management of the COVID-19 crisis, alleging favoritism towards China and overcharging the US. Trump highlighted that while China contributes $40 million annually to the WHO, the US pays approximately $450 million each year. Despite President Biden’s reversal of the withdrawal notice in January 2021, Trump has now reinstated the process, citing the same reasons for departure.
