SGA’s 45 Points Propels Thunder to 9th Straight Win

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tied his career high with 45 points, leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 120-114 victory over the Indiana Pacers. He shot 15 of 22 from the field and was perfect from the free-throw line, making all 11 attempts. In the fourth quarter alone, Gilgeous-Alexander scored a career-high 16 points. This performance followed his 41-point game against the Washington Wizards, making him the first Thunder player since Russell Westbrook in 2019 to score 40 or more points in consecutive games. Jalen Williams contributed 20 points, and Isaiah Hartenstein added 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Thunder. For the Pacers, Andrew Nembhard scored 23 points, Pascal Siakam had 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Bennedict Mathurin finished with 18 points. The Pacers’ five-game winning streak was broken despite leading by 15 points in the first half.
