7 Turnovers and 10 Missed 3-Pointers: Stephen Curry’s Exhaustion Revealed in Stats

Stephen Curry’s performance against the Denver Nuggets showcased his exhaustion, with seven turnovers and missing 10 out of 14 three-point attempts. Despite scoring 20 points and providing 7 assists, the Nuggets defeated the Warriors 114-105, ending their seven-game winning streak. Curry played 35 minutes in the game, despite being listed as questionable due to a right lower back strain. His back issues began during pregame warmups before facing the Sacramento Kings, where he achieved a milestone by becoming the first player to reach 4,000 career three-pointers. In March, Curry averaged 26.6 points and 6.6 assists in 33.5 minutes per game. Coach Steve Kerr acknowledged Curry’s fatigue and is considering resting him for the upcoming game against Milwaukee. Jimmy Butler, with 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists, emphasized the team’s need to support Curry more effectively.

Steph Curry mentions his sore back more so than fatigue after Steve Kerr described him as “exhausted right now.” Added that if he’s out there, he’s good enough to play and didn’t excuse his 7-turnover night.

Steph Curry shot 6-21 and had 7 turnovers because his knee injury from 2016 is still acting up. I don’t wanna see anybody make fun of him for losing at home to a team without it’s 2 best players.

W teammate but Steph still needs to have better awareness. Being tired doesn’t make you throw a scoop forward pass directly to the other team. He didn’t even need to go off offensively. Free throws would’ve won this game

Curry said his back — he was questionable with low back strain — bothered him more than any sense of fatigue. Will see how it responds Tuesday. “Obviously, I didn’t play great all. Everybody, including coach, is going to try to figure out why.” Feels pretty solid, he said:
