1 in 5 Americans Believe in Ghosts: New Survey Reveals Surprising Statistics

According to a recent survey, approximately 20% of Americans believe in the existence of ghosts, while 45% are unsure or don’t believe in them at all. The remaining 35% reported being open-minded about the possibility of ghostly activity.

The survey also found that women (23%) were more likely than men (17%) to believe in ghosts, and that individuals aged 18-24 (26%) were more likely to believe than those aged 65 and older (12%). Additionally, 31% of respondents reported having experienced a paranormal event or feeling as though they had been touched by an unseen force.

While the survey did not provide specific statistics on the correlation between ghostly beliefs and movie preferences, it is worth noting that Jennifer Love Hewitt, star of the I Know What You Did Last Summer franchise, has expressed her fondness for horror movies and openness to revisiting the series.
