82nd Golden Globes: 75% of Fans Upset Over Major Snubs

The 82nd Golden Globes, set to air tonight on CBS, has left 75% of fans disappointed with some notable snubs. Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga were overlooked for their roles in the sequel to “Joker,” which also failed to secure any nominations. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman were also snubbed for “Deadpool,” with the film only receiving a nod for Best Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. Meryl Streep, despite her extensive collection of awards, was not recognized for her comedic role in “Only Murders in the Building.” The musical “Wicked” received four nominations but missed out on recognizing director Jon M. Chu and actor Jonathan Bailey. Saoirse Ronan faced a double snub for her performances in “The Blitz” and “The Outrun.” Michael Keaton, despite stellar performances in “Beetlejuice” sequel and “Goodrich,” was also overlooked. The ceremony will be hosted by Nikki Glaser.
