World Network, a blockchain-based ecosystem, is negotiating with Visa to integrate on-chain card features into a self-custody crypto wallet. The collaboration aims to enable Visa card functionality within World Network wallets. This would facilitate a variety of fintech and foreign exchange applications, as well as fiat on and off-ramps. Additionally, it would allow stablecoin-based payments at over 50,000 merchants worldwide that are part of the Visa network. World Network has also been in discussions with crypto card facilitators like Rain, which is supported by Coinbase and Circle and provides on-chain Visa cards for projects such as Optimism and Avalanche. The goal is to develop a comprehensive wallet strategy that supports trading in various assets, including foreign exchange and cryptocurrencies, and enables loading, sending, and spending from the wallet. Earlier this month, World Network introduced a World Chat application and the capability for users to send money via crypto-based transactions within the network.
