50% of Vietnam’s LNG to Come from U.S. by 2026: A Statistical Breakthrough

Excelerate Energy and Petrovietnam have entered into a significant agreement. They signed a memorandum of understanding to supply liquefied natural gas from the U.S. to Vietnam. This deal is set to start as early as 2026. The partnership aims to meet 50% of Vietnam’s LNG needs. Additionally, the companies will assess Petrovietnam’s LNG supply chain.
