Justin Rose has led or co-led the first round at the Masters five times, the most in tournament history. He has led or co-led in any round at Augusta National Golf Club eight times, also a record for players without a Masters win. Despite these strong starts, Rose has not won the Masters, finishing as runner-up twice. In 2004, Rose led by two strokes after the first and second rounds but scored a 9-over 81 in the third round, finishing 11 strokes behind the winner. In 2007, he was tied for the lead after the first round but ended fifth. The next year, Rose led after the first round but finished 36th. In 2021, he led by four shots after the first round but finished seventh. Rose, now 44, remains in contention, hoping to finally win the green jacket this year.

Hi
@TheMasters
,When you can make mistakes, then the rest of us can be excused too. Thank you for being just a little bit human. But something’s off in the News section of your website… And for some reason Justin Rose has gotten a victory according to your stats section.
