The 41-year-old actress cited irreconcilable differences and listed their separation date as May 6, 2023. They have two children, Peter, 5, and Mary, 3. Gummer seeks joint custody and spousal support. This marks her second divorce, having previously been married to actor Benjamin Walker from 2011 to 2013. Meryl Streep, 75, confirmed her own separation from Don Gummer in October 2023, after over six years apart. Grace Gummer, another of Streep’s daughters, divorced musician Tay Strathairn in 2020 after less than a year of marriage and later married Mark Ronson in 2021. Louisa Jacobson, Streep’s youngest daughter, came out during Pride Month in June 2024, sharing her first official photos with her partner, Anna Blundell.
