Counter-Strike 2 professional player Joakim “Jkaem” Myrbostad admitted to gambling away $11,000 worth of skins loaned to him. The skins, valued at approximately 8,500, were borrowed for the Paris Major in March 2023. Jkaem publicly acknowledged the issue on March 26, 2025, after allegations surfaced. He committed to repaying all affected parties, working alongside BC Game Esports. Jkaem confessed to multiple instances of similar misconduct. The accuser, Erlsan, set a repayment deadline of March 15, 2025, but reported receiving only $1,000, or roughly 850, from Jkaem. Oliver “zipeL” Behrensdorff attempted to facilitate earlier repayments in January of the same year but was unsuccessful.
