Piers Morgan has left Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp after three years to take full control of his ‘Uncensored’ YouTube channel. Morgan, who joined News Corp in 2021 as the face of TalkTV, has decided not to renew his contract. Instead, he has entered into a four-year revenue-sharing agreement with News Corp through his production company, Wake Up Productions. This move allows him to focus on expanding ‘Uncensored’ into a standalone business. The YouTube channel currently has 3.6 million subscribers. Morgan has engaged Red Seat Ventures, a sales agency known for working with personalities like Tucker Carlson, to boost the channel’s advertising revenue. This new business model provides Morgan with the flexibility to grow his brand independently while still maintaining a partnership with News Corp.
