Fauci’s Legal Troubles: 20 Million Deaths and Counting

Dr. Anthony Fauci, once celebrated as “Mr. Science” during the COVID-19 crisis, now faces ongoing legal scrutiny despite a presidential pardon. The pardon, which covers any potential crimes related to the handling of the virus, dates back to 2014 when the U.S. banned gain-of-function research. Critics argue that Fauci’s involvement in funding research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which might have led to the virus’s creation, remains a point of contention. Despite the pardon, Fauci could still be compelled to testify in future hearings, where lying under oath could lead to prosecution. The Department of Justice has received two referrals from Congress to investigate Fauci for perjury. Moreover, Fauci’s contradictory statements and his role in a controversial paper dismissing the lab leak theory have drawn significant attention. The paper, which became the most-cited of 2020, was later revealed to have been influenced by Fauci, raising questions about scientific integrity. As investigations continue, Fauci’s credibility is under threat, even if criminal charges are no longer possible.
