Aisling Bea, the show’s creator and star, shared that the process was particularly tough. The series, intended to evoke a sense of lightness, was overshadowed by the difficulties of the period. Bea expressed uncertainty about producing a third season, citing a personal loss of enthusiasm for the project. Despite this, she remains proud of the show. In a related discussion at Dublin’s Storyhouse festival, Bea emphasized the importance of a small, trusted network for feedback on creative work. She advised showing drafts to no more than two or three people and not more than twice per draft.

It would be useful against a steady background but flu, rsv, heat, make it fluctuate too much.
