18.2 Million Viewers Per Episode: The Statistical Success of ‘Tracker’

The CBS series ‘Tracker’ has proven to be a statistical powerhouse since its premiere in February 2024. The show, starring Justin Hartley as survivalist Colter Shaw, averaged 18.2 million viewers per episode. It was the most-watched broadcast premiere since NCIS’s final episode with Mark Harmon in September 2021. ‘Tracker’ dominated viewership, with 15 of its episodes ranking in the top 100 most-watched primetime telecasts of the year. The season 2 premiere saw an impressive 8.3 million viewers, marking a nearly 10 percent increase from the season 1 finale. This premiere also achieved the highest audience since the series debut. As ‘Tracker’ gears up for its third season, the show’s team dynamics are set to evolve, with executive producer Elwood Reid hinting at a reconfiguration of the team to keep the series fresh and engaging.
